About
I fell in love with Folsom and the Sacramento area when I relocated from the Bay Area in the early 1990’s. Having worked for United Airlines for 17 years it was 9/11 that moved me to make changes in my life. In early 2002, I started my career as a mortgage consultant. My desire to be of service and fuel my personal entrepreneurial drive fit this career path perfectly. Over the next decade, I observed first hand what people needed and desired from a mortgage company. In 2012 , my vision of creating a company that could deliver a small town personal feel while offering a world of products more vast than the offerings of any retail bank, fueled my desire to open The Blue Waters Group.
It’s not just about impeccable number crunching and timely problem solving; it’s about understanding how my clients’ financing needs reflect their larger dreams and goals. Empowering my clients’ through their trust in me to provide the right financing solutions which improve their overall financial position is the real gem of being a loan consultant. These personal connections with my clients, their stories, and their dreams is what gives my work a deep sense of fulfillment and purpose.
In my personal life, I feel deeply about giving back to the community. I am a board member with the Folsom Lake Rotary Club and their 2019 President elect. In the winter months, I work with HART (Homeless Assistance Resource Team) housing and feeding homeless in Folsom. I am active in the Folsom school book swap program, Rise Against Hunger, the Folsom back-pack program and Orangevale’s annual Christmas Basket event. In addition, a charity very close to my heart and one I am deeply committed to as an Agent of Change is One At A Time (OAAT). This non-profit is a cross between Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Make A Wish. They assist one family at a time whose child is battling a life threatening disease. My career is definitely a great joy in my life and from the personal benefit I receive it is very important that I give back and help others whom are less fortunate or going through very challenging life events. Ultimately, this is where my greatest fulfillment comes.
